This 20 year-old  is from suburban Mumbai, her serenity and calm shone throughout the
pageant. The year 99 when she was crowned as Miss World she  told  the  media  that,
"It  is the  best  day of my  life because I had this as a beautiful dream as a  child   
and now it's come true...". She was studying zoology at Kelkar college, Mumbai, prior
to winning the crown. She has also studied classical music for three years. Today,  she 
has signed Hindi films. And we hope this is the beginning of a very  promising career  for 
her !
